RUMORE is an ensemble focussed on contemporary music. The mix of flute, saxophone, guitar and percussion is quite unusual, but in the early 1990s our Finnish precursor, the Cluster ensemble, got composers Magnus Lindberg, Kalevi Aho, Jouni Kaipainen, Erik Bergman and Miklos Maros amongst others to compose for this ensemble.

RUMORE is now, 20 years after the Cluster ensemble, continuing the work of getting composers to write for this mix of instruments.

Already on the first concert for RUMORE, 3 works were premiered (works by L.Carlsson, B.Staern and D.Feiler), and on our second concert we premiered a piece by M.Josjö, a piece commissioned by "Concerts Sweden" (Rikskonserter).
